Dr. Debora Schwertner

Dr. Debora Schwertner has been working in the field of intellectual property since 2012. She worked for 10 years in the IP department of a large corporation, where she was specifically responsible for patent quality. Her technical expertise lies in the fields of semiconductor and manufacturing technologies, sensor technology, robotics and drive technology.

Prior to her training as a patent attorney, Debora Schwertner studied chemistry and completed her doctorate at the University of Cologne in the field of laser spectroscopy. After research stays in New Zealand and Switzerland, she worked for several years in industrial development and was involved in building up a patent portfolio as an inventor.
