André is specialized in electronics and computer engineering and holds a M.Sc. in electrical engineering and computer science. He is German Patent Attorney.

His main areas of practice are drafting and prosecution of German and European patent applications, mainly in the field of computer implemented inventions, artificial intelligence, imaging technology, informatics, automation, semiconductors, digital technology, communication technology, internet technology, automotive, mechanical engineering and weapons technology. He further provides support in opposition proceedings.

His training as an industrial engineer in electronics helps him to understand the inventors on a technical level and to apply his practical knowledge in patent matters. As an engineer he further gained practical experience as a system engineer for NATO Helicopter 90 (NH90) on the Airbus Helicopters.

In addition, Mr. Spaltowski holds an MBA from the FOM University of Applied Sciences for Economics and Management, Munich, Germany and a military training as an officer of the German Federal Armed Forces, Munich, Germany.
